Knowledge sticks best when linked to a positive or even unexpected experience. And that's exactly where we come in.
Klo-Igel is known for its humorous urinal inserts that bring a smile to people's faces in restaurants and stadiums. But why not use the same effect for education?
Our idea: imparting knowledge in the place that students visit every day.
Through our urinal inserts, we aim to anchor the "classics of general knowledge" in the minds of children and young people through daily engagement: math formulas, important facts from history and geography, or small challenges to boost hygiene routines – all short and concise and placed in such a way that you can't help but look.
What does that look like?
Our urinal inserts are now also available in “school style”:
Math classics: " a² + b² = c² or π = 3,1415" and „1 ml = 1 cm³ – eben with urin“
Everyday knowledge: "Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world" and "There are no sounds on the moon"
Child-friendly fun facts & challenges: "Did you know? A human has over 200 bones!" and "Count 10 animals before you wash your hands!"
This creates a mixture of learning + smiling + aha moment .
And the girls' restrooms?
Don’t worry – where there are no urinals, we simply bring the knowledge to the door.
Each insert comes with stickers for the cabin doors , so that the learning effect is there for everyone.
Why all this?
Unusual : Learning happens in an unexpected place.
Memorable : The messages are repeated regularly – this ensures that knowledge sticks.
Positive : humor + hygiene = sympathy.
We are convinced: Small impulses can have a big impact – and who would have thought that the Pythagorean theorem would be something you learned while doing your small businesses? 😉

We're already in contact with schools who are enthusiastic about the project. However, before we can get started, we need more people to reach the minimum production volumes for this project.
